My friend's friend bought her a manga when he was in Japan. We can't read Japanese :D

Does anyone know what this manga is about? Can anyone give us a link to a translation or to a plot outline?

I am asking this for a friend as she brought up a good point in her own LJ... where are the handicapped heroines who "get the guy" (as oppsoed to the guy getting the girl)? I can name plenty of handicapped male heros. But not a single female hero who ends up as the romantic interest.

I told her that anime and manga are full of a lot of things that westerners consider taboo... surely manga or anime has to have a few handicapped female heros who end up in a romantic relationship? Can anyone help us in our search for these characters?
